Description
Lisa Chase decided to open a Brooklyn-style eatery in the NY suburbs after almost 30 years as an accomplished editor and writer for Outside, Premiere New York, Wired, Mens Journal magazines, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Observer as well as Harper Collins and Random House. She says the business model of publishing was falling to pieces, and she did not want to be there when it finally imploded. After taking a buyout package from Hearst Corp. to go do “something new”, Lisa teamed up with two friends/neighbors (who also happen to be named Lisa), to begin the arduous process of opening “The Grange” - all in the midst of the pandemic. This episode features the wisdom and experiences of a consummate storyteller, with the reminder that it's never too late to try something new that stretches your brain!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
