Feedback is a gift...or is it? Sometimes it causes a lot of anxiety, typically cause we feel judged as usually the feedback is coming from a person in a position of authority. Year end reviews or your family's opinion on your parenting, feedback can be helpful, hurtful, and also send us into a panic. As you receive feedback, don't feel like you have to absorb it all and do every thing. If you're the one giving feedback, make sure:The receiver is able to hear the messageThe message is clear and there is positive intentProvide resources for how to improveWhen done properly, feedback can make us better. If it's in a work setting, try to not take it personal.
