Our Featured Event was the signing of the structural beam that will be placed above the main entrance of ES28 in North Plains. School Board member Martin Granum, Board Chair Erika Lopez, and North Plains Mayor Teri Lenahan kicked off the event that spanned three afternoons and drew more than 170 North Plains families, friends, and community members - ranging from a North Plains Elementary alumnus from the ‘50s to youngsters just learning to write their names. Current North Plains Elementary principal Becky Rios and former principal Karen Murphy also participated in this historic occasion. Highlights are posted on the ES28 bond page.
