USA head a strong looking Pool B that includes Great Britain, Fiji and Canada. Hosts Australia are in Pool C together with Ireland, Spain and Brazil.  In football – Europe’s biggest Clubs are chasing teenage superstar Jude Bellingham, now at Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old was one of England’s best in Qatar and has been in sensational form for his German Club in the Bundesliga this season. The tip is he will land at Liverpool. In rugby league – Coaching guru, Wayne Bennett has revealed the Dolphin’s spine leading into their inaugural season in the NRL - handing the number seven jersey to former Panther Sean O’Sullivan who will partner Anthony Milford at five eighth. In Sportsbiz – Saudi Arabia reportedly looked into buying Formula 1 and remains interested, should the opportunity arise. The country’s US$620Billion sovereign wealth fund, offered to purchase the global racing series from Liberty Media, according to Bloomberg. The fund valued F1 at well above US$20B, including debt. Liberty Media bought F1 for $4.4 billion in 2017 and isn’t interested in selling right now. In boxing – “Francis Ngannou, I know you’re out of contract with the UFC. You want to earn some big boy money? Come see The Gypsy King and let’s do a big, big fight for the baddest MF on the planet. “Let’s kick it up spicy, in a cage, four-ounce gloves under Queensbury rules and let’s have a badass Referee like ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson,” says crazy Tyson Fury shout out for a crazy fight.  In netball – Australia has claimed a remarkable seventh Quad Series title with a 56-50 win over rivals New Zealand in Cape Town yesterday, but the game was marred by one of the biggest umpire controversies seen in recent netball Test history, after the Silver Ferns were denied a goal when neither umpire was watching the play at a crucial stage late in the game – so they disallowed the goal. Can you believe that? Umpire Anso Kemp was distracted by a niggle between two players and so missed the goal and umpire Gary Burgess missed the goal too, admitting watching something downcourt instead. “It’s extraordinary,” commentator Jenny Woods said, as the umpires opted for a toss-up since neither witnessed the goal. “This is nuts!” Fox Netball’s Catherine Cox was left speechless by the drama. “I cannot believe my eyes!” she said. “Wow, wow, wow.” Wow what can I say – like I mean wow!
