In Qatar – at the FIFA World Cup today: Qatar 1-3 Senegal, Netherlands 1-1 Ecuador, Wales 0-2 Iran and England 0-0 USA this morning at Al Bayt Stadium.  Neymar will sit out Brazil's next World Cup game after he suffered an  ankle injury in his team's opening 2-0 win against Serbia. In  rugby league – with the Rugby League World Cup over and done with, our  attention flicks back to the NRL and new expansion Club – the Dolphins,  where Wayne Bennett is making a play to lure Nathan Brown away from the  Parramatta Eels, offering A$1Million a year for 4 or 5 years. In boxing – UFC President Dana White has  thanked his followers for helping identify a person who had sent  threats to his family, specifically his daughter via social media. MMA  fighter Brandon Bender, who also used to work at UFC GYM was caught by LA Police shortly after his latest post. Finally  in F1 racing – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who wrapped up his second  consecutive driver’s championship last weekend, earned US$60Million in 2022, with US$20M coming from bonuses, according to Forbes. Fading Mercedes star, Lewis Hamilton earned US$55M, all from his base salary, without any bonuses. So if your Mum likes speeding around town, maybe Formular One is for her? Cheers big ears!
