In  rugby – the former-invincible All Blacks barely beat Japan in Tokyo  yesterday 38-31. They scraped through with their tails between their  legs and they know it. Sure  it was not their best team, BUT the All Blacks is the All Blacks 24  seven and you can bet their fans and the Kiwi media will let them know. Meanwhile, at the Women’s Rugby World Cup quarterfinals in New Zealand, soon to be  Aotearoa, France plonked Italy 3-39 and Wales tried but cried losing to  the Black Ferns 55-3. England play Australia and Canada versus USA at The Trusts Arena in Auckland today. At the Rugby League World Cup – the Fiji  Bati smashed Scotland 14-30 with all their big guns scoring – first was  Taniela Sadrugu, then Viliame Kikau, followed by Henry Raiwalui, flying  Wing, Maika Sivo and finally Korbin Sims crashing over for their RLWC  semifinal spot. In other games today: the New Zealand Kiwis zapped Ireland 10-48 and Australia delivered Italy one BIG family pizza 66-6. One more Group C game to play - Lebanon versus the Reggae Dancing Queens from Jamaica before they go home tank goodness. In  boxing – after eight years and 168 games for the Sydney Roosters,  including consecutive NRL titles in 2018-2019, Mate Ma’a Tonga star  Siosiua Taukeiaho, who is headed to French Club Catalans in 2023 is set  to make a shock heavyweight boxing debut before Christmas aged 30. In  football – Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe all scored as Paris  Saint-Germain beat Troyes 4-3 in the French league on Saturday. Carlos  Soler was the other scorer at the Parc des Princes for PSG, which has a  five-point lead over Lens. In another game yesterday, Marseille came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Strasbourg.
