Emily Messina talks to us about her career, gives advice about how to get into the role of your dreams, and lends her take on commitment to your goals.
Emily Messina, 24, enters her third season, second season in the broadcast booth, with the Reading Fightin Phils. Emily also assists with public relations, graphic design, and social media. She spent a winter with the Melbourne Aces of the Australian Baseball League. There she was a voice of the team, working as a PA announcer and play-by-play and color commentator. Prior, Emily worked for the Cleveland Indians Advanced-A affiliate, the Lynchburg Hillcats, as their Press Box Manager and a part of the broadcast team. A Pennsylvania native, Messina began her career in the Athletic Department of The Catholic University of America.
