We often feel like we have to be the ones to do it all when it comes to home life or we don’t ask or we don’t have the right partner so that we can succeed. Have a partner who supports, listens, and understands your career goals so you can achieve your dreams. 
3. As a leader, manage to the outcome you want your team to achieve. You don’t need to know it all or be the subject matter expert. This is a big shift from a “doer” role to a “leader” role. As a leader, you have to figure out a way to enable the people who work for you to be successful in their specific areas of expertise to achieve the company’s goals. 
4. Work for people who understand your talents and support you. Overtime, working in the wrong environment can degrade your self confidence. If your boss does not support you, you have to get out and move on so that you can flourish under the right leadership.
