Description
Graduation from high school may signal the natural time to enter the halls of higher education, but is that actually the right time? Amy and Mike invited psychologist Tamir Rotman to answer a question that should be asked more often: “How do you know if you are ready for college?” What are five things you will learn in this episode? What does it mean to be ready for college? What are the consequences when a student is not ready for college? What skills and traits should students possess before they arrive at college? What are some red flags to look for regarding college readiness? How can students who are not ready become college ready? MEET OUR GUEST Tamir Rotman is the Director of Change at Free Spirit Experience. He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is a practicing psychologist, working both inside and outside of the therapy room with youth from various cultures, difficulties, and needs.
