Description

Wine: Coppola Claret
BIO:
An advocate for social justice. A wannabe hacker. A weekend karaoke singer. A serial entrepreneur. A kitchen adventurer.
One thing that can’t be said about Kimberly is that she’s one dimensional.
Kimberly is a self-taught private chef, on-air personality, and the founder of Might Be Vegan – a plant-based multimedia company and consultancy dedicated to helping people around the world eat more plants.
In the kitchen, she’s had the pleasure of serving busy executives, families, as well as celebrities and professional athletes. She’s also the creator behind the national #FromMeatsToBeets Challenge, the web series “Might Be Vegan presents The Trap Kitchen,” the award-winning national COVID-19 hunger relief program, Food Love by Might Be Vegan, and the world’s largest vegan-only tailgate, #VeganAtTheGame, which served more than 1500 people at no cost in the city of Atlanta during Super Bowl LIII.
For her tasty recipes and community activism, Kimberly has been featured on The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Essence.com, VegNews.com, ABC Portland, Fox Washington, and KTLA. She’s also made several guest host appearances on QVC.
Before launching Might Be Vegan, Kimberly served as CEO of ContentPark. This tech-driven content development agency specialized in the production of premium content for large brands and mid-sized businesses. The content created by her team provided its clients with content that was narratively compelling, culturally attuned, and SEO-smart. Some of their work has been seen on web assets managed by Fortune 500 companies, such as Macy’s, AT&T, and Southern Company.
Kimberly holds a bachelor’s of science in marketing from North Carolina A&T State University.

The Wine & Chisme Podcast was created to share the stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things to serve their community. Our host, Jessica Yañez brings her love for wine and passion for storytelling together to highlight the stories that need to be told in communities of color. Chisme (Spanish for gossip) comes from the interviewees themselves as they "spill the wine" on their own terms. So grab a glass of wine and join us for the new Wednesday. #WineAndChismeWednesday
