Gabriela's career in the wine industry spans over a decade, marked by her fearless leadership and commitment to inclusivity. Currently serving as the Director of Trade & Marketing Events for The Duckhorn Portfolio, Gabriela has also left her mark as a pioneer in the marketing division of a Spanish wine importing company. Her dynamic presence extends beyond the boardroom as Wine Down Media's first Latina Producer and On-Air host at MegaMix radio station, amplifying voices in the Spanish-speaking community.
Recognition & Achievements:
Gabriela's impact on the industry has not gone unnoticed. Named one of Wine Enthusiast's Future 40 innovators, she's at the forefront of change in the beverage industry. In 2020, she launched "The Big Sip" podcast, a labor of love highlighting black and brown individuals shaping the worlds of wine, food, arts, tech, and health.
Community Building & Advocacy:
Driven by a desire for service and equity, Gabriela co-created the LatinX Wine Summit and serves as an active Board Member for Hispanics in Wine, championing educational and career advancement opportunities for the LatinX and Hispanic population.
