Description

Wine: ARIL 2012 Atlas Peak, Napa Valley Syrah
Syrah is a dark-skinned red grape wine that is rich and intense. Pairs well with red & white meat, poultry, lamb and hard cheeses.
Generous and complex aromas of blueberry fruit tinged with violets, bramble, and espresso bean.   While muscular with ample weight and endurance.  Then revealing broad Cabernet-like mouthcoating fruit redolent of juicy mountain blueberry, black cherry.  Finally underscored by a roasted espresso note leading to a lengthy finish balanced by zippy, mouthwatering acidity and lingering generous dark-berried fruit notes.  A voluptuous, crowd-pleaser that won’t last long in your decanter and calls for a marbled porterhouse or T-bone.

The Wine & Chisme Podcast was created to share the stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things to serve their community. Our host, Jessica Yañez brings her love for wine and passion for storytelling together to highlight the stories that need to be told in communities of color. Chisme (Spanish for gossip) comes from the interviewees themselves as they "spill the wine" on their own terms. So grab a glass of wine and join us for the new Wednesday. #WineAndChismeWednesday
