Description

Tell better stories. That's a mantra every photographer and film maker should strive to repeat. The live a life filled with the curiosity of the human experience is a special thing and to be a full time story teller is a job title reserved for a pretty select few creatives. Today's episode is with my friend Varina Shaughnessy. Let me start by saying Varina is brilliant. Her ability to understand, to observe, to empathize has been shaped over a decade spent watching stories come to life. Whether as a film maker, an interviewer, or a wanderer Varina's own story has been filled with intentionality and opportunity. This chat with her is packed full of nuggets of wisdom she has picked up along the way as well as moments that have shaped her. From meeting her husband who was a journalist in Uganda, to being hired by one of the world most foremost imaging companies to help tell their brand story Varina has lived an amazing life that I can't wait to share.
You can connect with Varina via her INSTAGRAM page here or find her as a member over in the PHOTOGRAPHIC COLLECTIVE

The Photographic Collective is a FREE to join community filled with not only all of the guests of this podcast but hundreds of other positive, intentional image makers from around the globe! The Photographic Collective Podcast is a production of Photographic Collective LLC hosted by Bentonville, Arkansas based photographer Miles Witt Boyer with sound engineering by Jared Mark Fincher.
