Amy Francetic is the founder of Buoyant Ventures, a new woman-owned venture fund in Chicago that invests in digital climate solutions. Her journey began at Evergreen Climate Innovations, where she co-founded and led the company as CEO, before moving on to Energize Ventures, a $165 million venture fund that propelled cutting-edge digital technologies to optimize energy equipment and infrastructure.
As a member of the Advisory Board for the WISER Institute at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Amy's influence extends beyond her ventures, shaping the future of sustainable solutions. Her remarkable contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades, such as "20 Most Inspiring Chicagoans," Crain's Chicago "Tech 50 Leader," and the "Leading Woman in Technology" from the Illinois Technology Association.
She has a BA from Stanford University, and has over 25 years experience in the energy and high technology sectors, including the founding of two companies.
