Hiya!!! This week we are talking to Alexa from @tellingourtails! Alexa, her dog, Joni, her cat, Sid, and her partner, Brad, all live in Brooklyn, New York. Alexa’s account, Telling Our Tails, showcases life in the big city with a rescue dog and cat. They focus on how to live comfortably with your pets while also taking care of yourself. Alexa says Joni has not always been an easy dog to live with due to some behavioral issues that they have worked very hard to grow through. By helping Joni find comfort in the world, Alexa has found comfort and confidence in herself. Alexa also lives with PMDD, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and has been advocating for more education around it on her social platforms.
