Description

This week we are talking to Sarah from @lilmiss_cocoa! Sarah and her two year old chocolate maltipoo schnauzer mix, Cocoa, live in sunny San Diego, California where they participate in a variety of dog friendly activities. They attend many dog vendor events including the San Diego Humane Society walk, Harley-Davidson Hogs & Dogs event, Dog festivals, and many other meetups. They co-lead a pack walk for a group of San Diego Instagram dogs and pick a new location to explore each week. Sarah and Cocoa recently started volunteering as a therapy team and have been loving every minute of it. Sarah says Cocoa is such a friendly and loving dog and that she wanted to share her love with others, especially the aging population. Owning a dog can teach us valuable lessons that we utilize beyond life with a dog. Because of this, Karoline loves to take the familiarity of owning a pet and relating those experiences to emotional well-being and more raw topics on her social platforms and podcast. Her goal is to make new dog owners feel less alone, give hope for those problems people thought they couldn’t solve, and match words to how their dog is acting or how they are feeling. This podcast is catered for those who have been emotionally affected, inspired, and empowered from owning a dog. For all the dog pictures and relatable content, follow @dogmommentality.
