Description
Shingi Rice, aka bluespit, is a London based self-taught fashion and portrait photographer of British Zimbabwean origin. Due to the lack of cultural representation and identification she has experienced in her surroundings whilst growing up in Spain, she decided to focus on creating beautiful content with women of colour, especially black women, plus size models, individuals with disabilities, and mature models. She picked up her first camera at 13 first documenting her surroundings, started creating fashion related work at 18 and decided to pursue fashion and portrait photography at the age of 20. Shingi ‘s clients include Nike, Amazon, Superdrug, Warby Parker, Apple, Glossier, Gal Dem, VSCO, VICE, Google, Dazed, Puma, Fanta, Dove, Getty Images and more.
