She went on to earn a BA in Theater from Temple University and later an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater. During her time at American Conservatory Theater, she became the first recipient of the Benjamin Bratt Scholarship Award and was nominated by the Theatre Bay Area awards for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Principal Role for her work in Sweet Maladies as MARY at Brava Theater Center.
