We like to analyze, rationalize and figure things out. The conscious mind is like the horse pulling the cart. But our job, when doing hypnosis, is to access the subconscious mind. To enter our imagination, and our feelings, and get to the deep programming inside ourselves. Hypnosis is like putting the cart before the horse.
