Noor Sweid, Founder of Global Ventures, is one of the most prominent venture capitalists in the Middle East and North Africa – and the only woman in the Middle East to lead a venture fund. In 2008, she made waves on a global stage, as the first female to lead an IPO in the region when her family's business was listed on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ Dubai. In this interview with Noor, she talks us through her first IPO at the age of 25 and the story behind the rapid growth of Global Ventures, a leading VC company in Dubai.
