Description

Patients with otherwise normal hearts can tolerate single residual lesions fairly well, but in single ventricle patients they are often associated with major adverse outcomes. Modern management involves aggressive monitoring for and intervention on residual lesions, though interventions must be seen in the context of the whole patient.
