Stef van Dongen is an innovator and impact-driven entrepreneur. His lifework is focused on how humans can live in harmony with nature and each other. Stef has over 18 years of experience in the impact sector. In 2002 he founded the social enterprise group Enviu from the belief that entrepreneurs can play a major role in solving the world’s biggest challenges. Over the years Stef co-founded more than a dozen cutting edge social enterprises and innovation programs in the field of access to financial services, access to food and circular economy. Through his business Pioneers of Our Time, he builds partnerships and impact-investment vehicles for real assets e.g. a landscape and forest regeneration project in the Spanish Pyrenees. Stef was awarded the lifetime achievement award “Radical Innovators” from Vrij Nederland Magazine. He is a distinguished Alumni of the Rotterdam School of Management, where he did his Master with a focus on Global Business Society Management. Stef is a passionate Chairman for NEXUS Europe and board member and advisor of several social enterprises, HNW individuals and innovation networks.
