I have run into a group of people on Twitter both fans and writers complaining about the recent talk about the Cleveland Guardians and the stance that no one believed in them. These takes are so tired. Literally, every sports movie ever is about a plucky group of overachievers that surprises everyone and manages to win. If people are going to get upset by this, then I am not sure how they can follow sports at all.

We dug into the game from Monday, an extra-inning loss that saw the Guardians have several players perform well but unfortunately, the bullpen had some issues and Shane Bieber had his worst start in months and the Guardians dropped this one. We also focus in on Jose Ramirez and the tale of two seasons for him since that Colorado series in June. He went from elite to average.

We focus on the win from Wednesday which saw yet another extra-inning affair, this time the Guardian pitching held up and they picked up the win. Gabriel Arias hit his first career home run and it was a no-doubter. Triston McKenzie was fantastic yet again, and the bullpen held the Rays at Bay as the Guardians took the second game of the series. Tyler Glasnow debuts against the Guardians making his first start of the year.
