The Guardians made a lot of roster moves over the past few days. We got into all of them from the call-up of Gabriel Arias to the impending return of Oscar Mercado. I focus on the basic fact that it should not matter if a player is right-handed or left-handed if they can’t hit. We focus on all the moves and explain why they were made.

Next, we talk about the Saturday doubleheader. It was a pair of extremely disappointing games. The Guardians could have had a chance in the second game but seemingly gave up late. We talk about the performances, what went wrong and what few things were positive. 

We get to talk about the big win on Sunday which saw the continuation of a strong weekend for Franmil Reyes and the best start of the year for Triston McKenzie. We also get into some minor league talk. While Nolan Jones and Will Brennan are the players most know are performing well. But we spent some time on one of the hottest hitters in the Guardians minors Micah Pries. They missed all of 19 and 20 but is currently second in the Guardians minors in home runs in just his second minor league season after coming out of a tiny baseball program that currently has produced a total of .03 bWAR and just 50 games total in the big leagues and Pries has a chance to the greatest player in that program's history.
