In this episode we had on the SVP of Digital Marketing at RCA Tarek Al-Hamdouni. Tarek grew up as an avid music fan and wanted to work in the industry from a young age. He attended Northeastern University as a music industry program major, gaining extensive knowledge on copyrighting, royalties, and publishing. Following graduation, he landed an internship at J Records, which was bought out by RCA during his tenure. After one of his supervisors brought him on during the merger, Tarek spent the next few years working his way up RCA to become the VP of Digital Marketing in 2015, and the Senior VP in 2018.
