Description
Chris Smalls is a previous Amazon Supervisor aka process assistant who held a walk out in Staten Island over two weeks ago that resulted in his termination. This was in protest to Amazon's nonchalant approach to dealing with COVID-19 at its distribution centers across the country. Smalls had been seeing an increase in the number of people getting sick at the beginning of March and began reaching out to the CDC as a supervisor he wanted to make sure his team, his “extended family” were protected. The interview with Smalls discloses the inner-workings of Amazon and its obsession with expediency.Chris’ life changed on March 30th when he took on the role as “whistle blower” because of Amazon’s so called “lack of protection” for its employees. He is now empowering people across the world to step up to companies like Amazon, united in one thing; "Taking the power back from capitalism".Credits:Paul Holdengraber - Co-Creator, Host, OLA DirectorAnthony Audi - Co-Creator, Researcher, OLA DirectorAlejandro Cohen - Co-Creator, Producer, ComposerChristian Pitt - Production Coordinator Erin Cooney - Copy, ProductionDublab Team
