Surprise! Welcome to the second season of Pleasant Good Evening! Not much has changed, except our shiny new logo in honor of the Mets' black jerseys.
To help celebrate the start of the second half and the start of season two is resident Mets Twitter fav, Richard Staff. The king of the Staffpost and being left by your wife joins us to talk about how sad that dumb series in Pittsburgh made us. We are happy to come away with a good win, but jeez, that series stunk in general.
We also talk Home Run Derby with Rich and talk about how Pete Alonso was literally born for this.
Then, after the halfway point in the episode, we pivot to Rich and talk about him. He breaks down his Mets Twitter origins, how he birthed his first Staffpost, and what his favorite interactions with players are on your Twitter timeline.
