Description

Happy Monday Mets fans! It's time for yet another new episode of your favorite quirky and independent Mets podcast. This week, we're doing a bit of housekeeping and talking about some not-super-significant Mets news. Of course, there was some important Mets news, in that Seth Lugo needs elbow surgery and will be shut down for six weeks. We talk about the Mets bullpen without Lugo and what they need to do.
We also broke down the recent batch of Mets non-roster signings. This time it's two pitchers, Tommy Hunter and Mike Montgomery. We try to figure out if there's a place for either of them on the Mets' roster.
We also finally talk about Jonathan Villar! We, uh, sort of forgot about him in our last episode.
We talk about Zack Scott's press conference and his comments on J.D. Davis' role for the 2021 Mets.
Also, we discuss the Mets' offseason as a whole now that they've missed out on Justin Turner and James Paxton. Where do the Mets turn to from here? And lastly, we remember some shadow Mets! Be sure to follow us on Twitter @thePGEpod and give us a rating and a review on Apple Podcasts to help us grow! Enjoy the episode, Mets fans!
