Happy Monday Mets fans! Time for another edition of Pleasant Good Evening with myself (@Samlebo14) and Jack (@JackHendon_)! We are through one round of this new cockamamie playoff format, and sadly, the Mets were not included. But we still watched as much of it as we possibly could! And, boy, do we have takes.
We break down the results of the Wild Card round before previewing the matchups for the four divisional series. We also took a deep dive into ESPN's handling of the broadcasts for the eight Wild Card series. We determined it was not exceptionally pretty.
We also talk about some fun the Mets had in the playoffs on this day before, as always, remembering some guys!
