Description

Welcome back for episode two of MetsMerized's new podcast, Pleasant Good Evening! This week, myself (@SamLebo14) and Jack (jackhendon_) break down a very long and busy week of Mets baseball. We discuss the social undercurrent of the week, surrounding Dom Smith and the Mets' walk-out of Thursday's game against the Marlins.
We also discuss exactly how the Mets did in their eight games this week, down the most frustrating detail. How did the pitching hold up? How about the catching?
Jack and I also talk about today's trade deadline and what we think the Mets will do with a much clearer picture of where the team sits since last week.
To round out the episode, we discuss the (likely) new team owner and what his first order of business should be.
We also reminisce about Addison Reed's amazing 2016 and, as usual, remember some random Mets! Stick around to the end of the episode to see which random Mets we remember. You do not want to miss this week's segment.
Also, we're running a mailbag for the podcast! This week's question is: What do you think about the seven inning game format? Do you love it or hate it? Sound off in the in the replies to our mailbag tweet on Twitter @PGEPod_MMO and we may read your answer next week.
Be sure to follow the podcast on Twitter @PGEPod_MMO and we hope you enjoy this week's episode!
