Happy Monday Mets fans. We've got another Pleasant Good Evening masterclass coming your way!
This week, we talked about the Mets road trip out west to Phoenix and San Diego. The Mets went 4-3 across the two stops, taking two of three from the Snakes and splitting four games with the Friars. We're happy with how they played, especially hanging tough with a very good team of Dads in SoCal.
We're very happy that Francisco Lindor, James McCann, and Dominic Smith have all started hitting. We talked about that in detail.
We also discussed some arms on the pitching staff that are either struggling or pitching well, and we try to decipher if we can trust these slumps or hot streaks.
Oh, also, Jacob deGrom is silly. He had a goofy week. There are no more words to describe him, but we tried anyway with a list of ridiculous statistics.
