Description

ANNOUNCEMENT: We will have two episodes per week for the 2017 season! Episodes will be released on Monday and Thursday. Subscribe to the podcast so you get the episodes as soon as they’re released.
The Bronx Pinstripes Show #127: Yankees rebound from their Opening Day loss, Chase Headley’s surprising hot start, expectations for CC Sabathia this season, the “Gleyber Torres Rules,” and why people need to get off Clint Frazier’s back. Then, Yankees pitcher Justus Sheffield (@Topsheff42) joined us. Justus was part of the Andrew Miller trade last summer and, coincidentally, the third piece of that trade we’ve had on the podcast (in addition to Clint Frazier and Ben Heller). We talk about his first big league spring training, being new to the Yankees organization, pitching in Double-A Trenton, looking up to CC Sabathia and other veterans, his high school days pitching with his brother, Jordan, who is a member of the Dodgers organization, and why he was a Red Sox fan growing up.
