Noah Grothe is a first year instrumental music educator at Levi P. Dodge Middle School in Farmington, MN. He graduated with a degree in Music Education from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, and taught both band and math as a long-term substitute before accepting his current position in Farmington. We discuss band and music education - but try to keep it light and fun. It's a "slice of life" from the perspective of a couple high school band directors in Minnesota. Basically, life lessons for musicians and non-musicians alike. So while it's all about band, and totally not about band at all. Hosted by Bradley Mariska and Erin Holmes (Farmington High School), with our colleague and friend Jerry Luckhardt (University of Minnesota).
