Today’s guest is James Boardman. James is a former Royal Marine Commando Sniper and Physical Trainer. He served for a total of 9 years and during that time deployed to Afghanistan as part of a 6 man sniper team. James finished his career as a sergeant in the Royal Marines, and spent the last 4 years of his service developing the physical, mental and emotional levels of recruits, preparing them to go to war straight out of training.In 2011, James left the Royal Marines to pursue a family life to be present for his 2 children , but he found the first few years unforgiving as he struggled to come to terms with being back to a normal life.James’ incredible journey through PTSD, divorce, depression, drinking, and near suicide led him to start his first successful business, Bootcamp, and later, he started The Man Coach with the sole purpose of helping men become Elite Operators in life. He aims to help men that were in the same position as he was when leaving the military - lost, struggling to find out who they are and where they’re going.
