The physical component is, for podcasts 000-003, I was interviewing someone through my laptop and with headphones on. When interviewing my mom, we were sitting on a chair beside each other and without headphones on. This made it feel a little more personal than the rest. As for the emotional, well, I am very grateful for the mother that I have. I know I'm fortunate to have her in my life. I did feel like this episode came out as an ode to my Mom. In 30-40 years, when she's no longer around, I want to have this audio to listen to. I do know that I'll have to have her on again.
