Description

On today's episode, our guest is Andrew Funderburk. Andrew is the mastermind behind "Underpass — The Musical," which will be on stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center this summer.
"Underpass" is Andrew's original musical about two individuals, one stuck in one place in life experiencing homelessness and the other one stuck in one place at work. The musical is all about them coming together over the commonality of being human. And before we get started, and just encourage everyone to go search for underpass, the musical on Facebook, be sure to like that page and, and do everything you can to support this musical and support the idea that yes, we are all humans.

Mental Health Association Oklahoma created The Mental Health Download podcast to share stories each week about mental illness, homelessness, incarceration and suicide, and how each can impact our lives in a profound way. Mental health affects everyone, yet the social stigma attached to mental health issues keeps so many of our family members, friends, colleagues and neighbors silent. Why are we so afraid to talk about these issues? Each week, our host Adi McCasland invites guests to share how mental illness, suicide, homelessness and incarceration have affected their work or lives.
