Dr. Sasho Mackenzie (T: @SashoMackenzie, FB: @sasho.mackenzie, IG: @sashomackenzie) has a Ph.D in Sports Biomechanics and is currently a Professor in the Department of Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Even if his name doesn’t sound familiar, that’s ok because his work is influencing coaching and golfers around the globe. Dr. Sasho does research on all areas of the game but at present is most known for his work on how golfers at all levels can increase their swing speed from a biomechanical perspective. Dr. Sasho is a regular presenter at most golf conferences such as the PGA Show/Teaching and Coaching Summit, Coach Camp, and others throughout the year and if you get the chance to hear him speak be sure to take advantage of it.
