George Goich is an owner of Flossmoor Golf Club which is located approximately 25 miles south of Chicago. He and his partners (2 of his brothers and a close friend) have created an amazing niche when they purchased then converted Flossmoor from a country club to a golf club. Their focus is on the golf course and experience at a very affordable price. The 100+ year old facility has an amazing history and George is focused on making sure that continues. Prior to becoming an owner, George had worked in every facet of the golf world; bag drop, assistant, Head Professional, and Director of Golf. He has taken clubs from start up to extraordinarily successful all around the country. In addition to his success on the club side of the business, he also had a great playing career that came remarkably close to playing on the PGA Tour. In today’s show he talks about all these things and tells some wonderful stories about celebrities, golf pros, and much more.
