Marcela Ot’alora G. is a psychedelic psychotherapist and artist. Marcela has worked as a therapist in the clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy as a treatment for PTSD, spearheaded by MAPS, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. She recently served as the principal investigator for MAPS’ phase two and phase three trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. She also trains and supervises the psychedelic psychotherapists of the future. Today we talk about MDMA-assisted psychotherapy as a treatment for trauma and what it can tell us about the nature of trauma.
