After all, I’ve never sold a ladder in my life. Unless maybe it was some sort of cute little décor piece that sits on your counter. But I want you to think about a ladder for just a sec. Say we wanted to get on our roof to put on some Christmas lights or something similar.We don’t leap from the ground onto a roof two stories above, right? It’s a pretty impossible thing to do for most of us—especially holding a bunch of tangled holiday lights.And we shouldn’t jump from a roof to the ground two stores below, either.
