The Australian High Court has upheld the plain packaging law that states that all tobacco packaging must be removed of logos and branding, except for the brand name, and requires graphic health warnings on the packs. Shane MacGuill, tobacco industry analyst at Euromonitor, states that other countries, such as New Zealand, Canada, France, and the UK are watching Australia and may introduce plain packaging laws based on the results of Australia's law.
