Imagine if Warren Buffet was at the Geico call center answering calls!You ARE your agency’s Warren Buffet.  Own it!Once we understood the importance of finding people who could and would fill in the gaps in areas where our time was being spent fruitlessly, when we were able to set aside our egos, and delegate responsibilities and empower team members, using processes and systems, productivity soared. Between Us, we have 5 locations, and two commercial buildings, writing over 700 policies a month, I have more freedom than ever to pursue the goals and dreams we have always wanted to.Busy is way different than effective.Managing processes instead of people takes a lot of pressure off of the business owner.  If the PROCESS isn’t being handled, we will have conversations around how the most important metrics aren’t being met and then rectify. Or ultimately, we will make a change.While we have felt bad over the years letting people go, ultimately it’s on them.
