Hey guys! Today we are talking with our friend and client, Sydney Blumstein of the Blumstein Real Estate Group. A native New Yorker, Sydney was born and raised in Greenwich Village and joined her family's business in 2006 as the second generation of a real estate dynasty! She has sold and rented over $100 Million worth of property in her career and moves fluidly through the city's constantly evolving housing market.
Sydney works with her parents, Kenny and Meris, who are each consistent members of The Corcoran Groups Top 25 Brokers with over $100 million dollars in rentals and sales each year.  It's worth mentioning that her mom is lauded as one of the nicest brokers in New York City--a bad ass for sure!
Sydney talks to us about how people our age can afford to buy in the city, ways to save your coins for a down payment, and how to make your current home a little more live-able, even if you can't afford to move right now.
You guys, this is a fun conversation and an important one for those of us that ever want to take the leap into NYC adulthood and try to afford something in this always expensive city.
As Fran Lebowitz says, nobody can afford to live in New York City, we all just figure out a way to do it.
