On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Alex Micheletti joins for a Micheletti Monday as we recap the Wild's 3 wins over the Thanksgiving Weekend. We look at which win against the Devils, Jets and Lightning is most impressive. We also discuss how Cam Talbot and the Wild's Penalty Kill have been key to the 3 game winning streak. We discuss the Wild jumping out of the gate to bury Winnipeg, which was great to see against a team who had been scuffling.
We move to some numbers behind many Wild players and their hot starts to the season. We look at Ryan Hartman, Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Foligno and which start surprised us the most. We look at Hartman following through on his promise to shoot more which has led to much greater scoring numbers. We also discuss who has a better chance at hitting the 30 goal plateau between Marcus Foligno and Joel Eriksson Ek.
We finish with some NHL Headlines. We look at Evander Kane being put on waivers and if anyone will actually claim him. Would he actually do to the Sharks' AHL affiliate? We discuss impending changes for Vancouver and the changes made over the weekend in Montreal and what the Canucks need to do to get back on track. We finish by roasting the Devils' new alternate jersey and whether or not it is on par with Team USA's awful Olympic jerseys.
