With a quiet couple of days of news in the NHL and fantasy hockey worlds, Flip and Steele decide to take a little look into their fantasy hockey listener leagues with the listeners and supporters of the Locked On Fantasy Hockey podcast. We break down how our teams are doing in the standings, are favorite draft choices, and some of the missteps we took when assembling our squads.

We also take a look at a big trade in our fantasy hockey listener league that involved five players. Toronto Maple Leafs star forward Auston Matthews

and Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson being dealt for a trio of fantasy hockey relevant pieces in Nashville Predators blue-liner Roman Josi, Calgary Flames No. 1 goalie Jacob Markstrom, and New Jersey Devils power-forward Timo Meier.

The boys wrap up the show by serving up their Friday afternoon NHL bets for the Global Series action in Sweden between the Detroit Red WIngs and Toronto Maple Leafs. Both Flip and Steele expect a really big night from Swedish native and Maple Leafs talisman William Nylander, who has opened the season on a 15-game point streak.
