When teams in the NHL struggle, opportunities arise in the fantasy hockey world begin to emerge. Such is the case with the Edmonton Oilers and their struggling goaltenders Jack Campbell and Stuart Skinner. The veteran Campbell was placed on waivers for the purpose of being sent down to the the club's AHL affiliate, with another veteran likely to be recalled in Calvin Pickard. Should Pickard stay with Edmonton for any period of time, he will be worth a look on a week-to-week basis.

We continue coverage of the Canadian NHL teams dominated the NHL news with a look at the Ottawa Senators who are currently mired in tough situations on and off the ice. Recent comments from Brady Tkachuk and Claude Giroux combined with poor performances on home ice have this club at a tipping point with calls for head coach DJ Smith's job ringing loudly throughout Canadian Tire Centre over the past few games. Be weary of some of their peripheral fantasy pieces' value should the club continue to slide.
