Description

Jasmine Todd and Katelyn Hutchison speak with Noah Lyles just weeks after he successfully defended his 200m world championship gold medal and broke Michael Johnson's American record with a 19.31 performance in the final. His previous personal best before that race was 19.50. He led a Team USA medal sweep in the event. Only Jamaica's Usain Bolt (19.19) and Yohan Blake (19.26) have ever run faster. In this episode, he takes us through the progression of his career, what led to the breakthrough after finishing 4th at the 2016 Olympic Trials and where his mindset goes after becoming the fastest American.
