In this episode, I’m talking to Leslie Yellin, the founder and CEO of Animal Science Labs. Leslie’s company is in the business of selling happiness! They’re using molecular science to help dogs cope with separation anxiety. There was a study done at Emory University that showed how a dog’s pleasure receptors in the brain light up when they smell their owner. And that is why Leslie is pioneering a method to use your very own scent to help comfort your dog using the most powerful tool they have — their noses! In addition to talking about the K9 Comfort Spray, I asked Leslie what the most rewarding part of being CEO of her own company is. She shared that after working for other brands for decades, now it’s really wonderful to have control of the leash at her own brand.
