In honor of International Women's Day (and Women's History Month), Voices of a Highway is highlighting empowering women that strengthen the communities of Buford Highway through their verve, their dreams, and their work.
In this episode, Executive Director Lily Pabian interviews Natalie Keng, founder and owner of Chinese Southern Belle: a multi-faceted business that uses food to connect people and culture– to build healthy, sustainable communities, support diversity, and strengthen local economies. Natalie shares stories about growing up in the South, launching her brand, and discovering the complexities of womanhood (i.e. intersectionality and internalized oppression) thanks to a class on Women's Studies in college.
