In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, Giana and Chika discuss episodes 3-5 of Maid Sama!. These episodes shed light on the importance of accepting and respecting people of all gender and sexualities, normalizing pronouns, and correcting people when they use incorrect pronouns.

Delving deeper into Misaki's job at Maid Latte, we're presented with pristinely-timed humor blended with themes of great leadership, friendship, and even a bit of...flirting? Calling it flirting is questionable (and you'll see why), but, to be honest, much of this show is questionable thus far...

Giana and Chika address the boys' oversexualizing of Misaki, middle schoolers being net idols (influencers), and the occasional ode to BDSM. They also share their candid thoughts on the weird, almost incestuous, vibes that Maid Latte's "Little Sister Day" gives off, as well as the persistent lack of faculty in Seika High School.
